My Caregiver Navigation Program will benefit hospitals by reducing the phone call and inbox onslaught of patient and caregiver inquiries, during their care; thereby reducing the burden on healthcare staff. Also, caregivers are essential to effectively continue the post hospitalization and ongoing care of the patient. Therefore, the more they are supported, the more likely they will be able to provide the exemplary care their loved one deserves.
This improved experience has a domino effect such as helping to prevent caregiver burnout, better at-home healthcare, and overall better experience for caregiver, patient and healthcare staff; leading to improved patient/caregiver satisfaction survey results.
